The Divine Romance

Contextually, the psalmist in Psalm 45 described the royal wedding between King Solomon and the princess of Egypt. He started with this earthly wedding but he ended with the divine romance between Christ and His Church. Throughout this psalm, there are three movements from the adoration of the author to the glory of the groom to the beauty of the bride. The psalm climaxed with the grand conclusion of the Church in the last days!
