Book of Amos

The Book of Amos contains a powerful prophetic message, given through an ordinary vessel.

Amos was neither a prophet nor the son of prophet. He was a humble farmer from a rural area, whom God called and used as a prophetic voice to a nation living in affluence and apathy.

Even though the nation seemed to be living in peace and prosperity, Amos saw the impending end and warned the people to prepare themselves to meet God. His passionate call was “Seek Good and live.”
